For the WIN at Farm Bureau

Giving employees the tools to succeed and grow in the workplace is sometimes less about structured assignments and more about building connections and developing a broader skill set. The WINs program at Farm Bureau Financial Services sets out to address that need.
WINs, or the Women’s Inclusive Network, is a program designed to give women a spot to network and grow their careers at Farm Bureau. Their mission is to be an inclusive network led by strong women that supports and encourages all employees, particularly the women of Farm Bureau Financial Services, by connecting employees to opportunities that will help them grow personally and professionally. The organization and its activities aren’t exclusive to women – anyone can participate. It was, however, developed by women with women in mind.
As an employee resource group– people participate as time and interest allows. Programs are advertised on the intranet and open to all employees (male or female). The program is entirely member-driven and operates independent of any one particular department. A small team of employees leads the group and they get together to plan upcoming events and discuss initiatives.
Some of the most successful WINs initiatives include:
The WINs group was originally formed because people recognized the need to improve the pipeline of women in leadership roles. Farm Bureau actively supports employees as they develop the skills they need to succeed, whether in the classroom or volunteering for a leadership position.
The WINs program is another way that employees can learn and grow in their positions. If you can dream it, you can do it at Farm Bureau. If you are looking to take your career to the next level, consider a career at Farm Bureau, or join our Talent Network.
