Hi, I am Amy Schroeder. I’ve been a part of Megan’s staff since 2012. I live in rural Bryant, IA with my husband Travis, and our three children: Raelyn, Emily & Dylan. We raise cattle as well as crops. I grew up in the rural Tipton area and still have family there. So, I am familiar with the people and communities in our Cedar and Clinton county locations. I stay active in our community serving as a 4-H leader, Cattlemens member, active fair board spouse, member of St. John’s church, FFA Alumni as well as owning/operating my hair salon. My hobbies include farming, gardening, snowmobiling, camping & spending time with my family & friends every chance I get.
I started with Farm Bureau in July of 2017 as receptionist for the whole office. In 2018 I became licensed in home and auto, so I am able to help out should the need arise.
Born and raised in DeWitt, I too raised my two sons, Christopher and Chad here. I am now a proud grandma of a little guy named Brooks.
A Dog lover extraordinaire, I volunteer at a Pet Rescue in the Quad Cities, and find it very hard not to bring each and every one of them home.
