Meet Sharon

Farm Bureau Agent for 6 years

Hello! I am Sharon Luna, a proud and dedicated Farm Bureau agent in Truth or Consequences, New Mexico. Both my husband's family and my family have called Sierra County home for over 100 years. Travis (husband) and I both graduated from Hot Springs High School and our three children followed suite. My husband and I still hold down the homestead in Winston and commute daily to Elephant Butte and Truth or Consequences to work. We raise enough cattle to know ranching isn't easy or cheap but it's a passion that is in our blood. We AI some of our better cows in the hopes of bull calves that will one day make a club calf.

When I am not working or home doing chores, I enjoying volunteering my time to non-profit organizations. I have chaired the Winston, Chloride, Chiz & Dusty (WCCD) for 4 years and recently moved into the position as Treasurer. I have been actively involved with the Sierra County Farm & Livestock Bureau for over 10 years and lead the Sierra County Republican Party for a 2 year term.

In my downtime, I love to camp, hunt, garden and watch summer rain showers fill our dirt tanks.
