About Tom

I was born in Detroit, Michigan but moved to Arizona as a teenager. After graduating from high school, I joined the US Air Force where I spent over 20 years. I retired from the Air Force in December 1999 and moved my family back to Rapid City, SD.

While working at a local electronic circuit board manufacturing company, I went back to college and graduated in 2005 with a degree in Finance. I began my career in Financial Services in 2004 as an intern for a local Financial Planning company. In 2009 I was looking for a company that offered the whole package of insurance and investments, and in early 2010 I began my career with Farm Bureau Financial Services.

I have been married to my wife Linda for 41 years, and during our free time, we enjoy riding our E-Bikes and going to the movies.  We have one son, Brenden, who owns a local bakery with our daughter-in-law, Erica. Over the past few years, we started traveling as a family to the Caribbean and have been to Aruba, Barbados, and Curacao.

What I love the most is working with, and taking care of, my clients who become part of my family.
