Driveology® is a program designed to reward client/members with a discount based on driving behavior. From your trusty “farm truck” to minivans and the latest EVs, enrolling is easy. New participants earn a 10% discount just for signing up. Savings are recalculated after 91 days of driving in the program and again at each annual renewal.

Identify Driving Trends

The app maps each of your trips so you can see the route taken and distance traveled. For each trip, you’ll see incidents of speeding, hard braking and phone use.

Know Your Score

Your rolling two-week driving score will be shown on your app dashboard and updated in near real time. Your driving score correlates with your premium savings, so the higher your score, the more you can save. Savings are calculated at your annual renewal.

Teach Teens Good Habits

Driveology can help reinforce good habits with your teenage drivers. You’ll be able to view their trips to track things like phone usage and speeding, making sure they are driving safely.

Compete with the Family

All enrolled drivers on your policy are shown on the leaderboard. Rankings are based on overall safe driving, speeding, braking and phone use. The safer you drive, the higher you rank.

Is there a fee for participating in Driveology?

Driveology is a discount program available to client/members of Farm Bureau Financial Services. There is no cost to participate. 

Do I have to install something in my car?

Driveology operates using a small device stuck on your windshield just behind the rearview mirror.

Does participating in Driveology guarantee me a discount?

New participants receive an automatic 10% discount. Continuation of the discount is contingent on installing the program’s windshield tag and downloading the app to engage in monitored driving. Discounts are recalculated after 91 days of monitored driving and may change based on driving behaviors. Discounts are recalculated annually thereafter. 

Can Farm Bureau see information on my phone through the app?

No, the Driveology app does not record information about which apps are in use or the content of any messages or calls. Phone use while driving is tracked using interactions like phone pick-ups or screen tapping.
